Nice but too much doing. Rather just go the transmitter route cause people complaining about coding and power drainage. If you can answer some of these guys questions I’d take the risk of ravaging through the wires.

Why are you using generic green coolant and not BMW oem blue coolant? You don't have to use BMW brand, but there are other brands that are made for BMW. So you don't run into issues of the coolant degrading any seals in the engine and oil cooler.

Hey, thank you for this tutorial. so from my understanding RTSP is really only to allow you to stream the video feed from the camera. I have the RTSP function enabled on my Synology NAS, I thought setting it up would allow me to save the footage directly to the NAS instead of recording it to the microsd card. I have not tried it yet. By any chance have you experimented with changing the save location of the video files?

the oil pan draining hole is the middle of the oil pan. You parked the car on the jack stands with the front up. A lot of old oil is still left in the rear part of the oil panm Why didnt you put the car down to let rest of old oil go down ?

just tried it on mine. I wouldn't reccomend this. Camera has no lights. Not sure if its dead now lol. I have an extra but i wanted to do this as a test. Guess it didnt go as planned unless it takes a long time

In the Wyze app there is no RTSP option in "Advanced Settings" was this removed?

Just installed mine. My car didnt have a stud to mount up the siren though so I used a self tap to hold it

Regarding the point you make at the 6 minute mark, the new Bosch ignition coils that I ordered from Pelican Parts would not take the electrical connector properly, and I did not want to force it. I tried everything i could think of. A bit of a bummer since I love working on my own cars and take pride in keeping my Bimmers running and looking beautiful. Now have to do the entire job over again when I get the correct set of ignition coils. Thanks for posting this, I need the refresher-lessons every few years.

Great tutorial, It was breeze to change the radiator. My 528XI was leaking coolant from the radiator. The upper radiator hose and the coolant purge was changed at this time as well. Dealer quoted $ 600 labour plus $ 750 for oem radiator. Tip: dielectric grease , put some on each hose before connecting to the new radiator. 😀

Great video thanks. I tried it and found the white / purple wire had no power so had to connect to the thicker red/brown next to the ground brown. Very erratic connection to the Bluetooth and getting slight static pulsing possibly due to unfiltered power? Partly successful but not as good as yours.
